Clarkston Everest Collegiate competed in the CHSL Cardinal Championship on May 26.
The boys track and field finished in third place out of 11 teams with 75 points.
For the track events, in the 100-meter dash, Antonio Santoro finished in second place in the time of 12.00; John Morrison, third, 12.02; 200-meter dash, Santoro, ninth, 24.88; Emiliano Ramirez, 15th, 26.79; 400-meter dash, Noah Arbogast, 13th, 1:01.60; 800-meter run, Arbogast, 11th, 2:23.27; 1,600-meter run, Anthony Felix, 11th, 5:25.67; 3,200-meter run, Justin Brezinski, 13th, 14:52.47; 110-meter hurdles, Gavin Ryeson, third, 17.56; Michael Wojciechowski, seventh, 21.84; and 300-meter hurdles, Ryeson, second, 42.33.
For relay events, the 400-meter team with Morrison, Ramirez, Ryeson and Santoro finished in second, 46.71. The 800-meter team with Morrison, Wojciechowski, Santoro and Joseph Milsoch finished in seventh, 1:52.16.
For field events, in shot put, Morrison and Jacob Jackson, tied for first, 42.01; discus, Jackson, third, 103-03; Morrison, tenth, 79-11; high jump, Morrison, third, 5-03; and long jump, Ryeson, fourth, 16-10.75; Wojciechowski, 12th, 14-02.25.
The top three teams included Madison Heights Bishop Foley in first place with 134 points; and Detroit Loyola, second, 129.
The girls track and field finished in seventh place out of 12 teams with 36 points. Sally McGrath finishing as champion in high jump with 4-08.
For the track events, in the 100-meter dash, Jessie Burns finished in eighth place in the time of 14.74; 200-meter dash, Burns, seventh, 30.30; 400-meter dash, Stephanie Suran, ninth, 1:11.92; 1,600-meter run, Theresa Waller, eighth, 6:06.35; 3,200-meter run, Waller, fifth, 13:20.08; and 300-meter hurdles, sixth, 56.57.
The 400-meter relay team of Booms, Burns, McGrath and Danielle Brown finished in sixth place in the time of 59.09. The 3,200-meter relay team of Brown, Suran, Waller and Allard finished in sixth place, 14:27.47.
For field events, discus, McGrath, fifth, 80-00; and long jump, Booms, fifth, 13-04.75; Suran, eighth, 12-00.25.
The top three teams included Wixom St. Catherine in first place with 146 points; University Liggett, second, 100; and Ann Arbor Greenhills, third, 88.
The boys finished with six points during the 62nd Oakland County Championship at Clarkston High School on Friday.
Ryeson finished in third place in the 300-meter hurdles in the time of 42.15. He finished in ninth place in the 110-meter hurdles, 16.47.
