Winston C. Farmer Jr., age 76 of Holly, died Sun. May 8, 2016. Military honors, committal services, and inurnment will be held at 2:00 PM Tues. May 17, 2016 at Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly. Mr. Farmer was born in Lynchburg, VA on June 17, 1939 to Winston Sr. and Grace Kathryn (Drinkard) Farmer. He was a US marine Corp veteran and was a member of the National Rifle Association. Mr. Farmer was an avid sports fan and also enjoyed reading, barbequing, and genealogy. He especially loved his cats. Surviving are his sister Betty (Bryce) Landon of Holly; son Daniel Winston Farmer of NV; good friend Nancy Bissel of Royal Oak; nephews John Landon of Holly and Christopher Landon of Marlette; and good friend Kent. www.dryerfuneralhomeholly.com
