Clarkston Varsity Baseball closed their regular season winning both games in their home double header against Brighton, May 24.
They took the first game, 3-2. Ben Bacon had two RBIs for the game.
They won the second game, 4-0. Trevor Busyn pitched for five innings with seven strikeouts in the shutout. Luke Spicer pitched for two innings.
Brady Krzciok and Spicer each had two RBIs. Krzciok had three hits.
Clarkston closed OAA league play going 2-1 in their series against Rochester with 9-6 and 11-1 wins. They lost in a close 5-4 game.
The Wolves (16-11) started the MHSAA Division 1 Baseball District 30 playoffs against Waterford Kettering, May 31.
The winner moves on to the district semifinal against Oxford on Saturday, 10 a.m. The district championship follows at 3 p.m. Both games are at Oxford High School.

Clarkston Varsity Softball opened last week splitting their double header against Hartland, May 23, with a 12-3 loss and 14-4 win.
Ava Gushen pitched for five innings in the win and had three strikeouts.
Keira Tolmie had three hits with three RBIs and Ella Cady had two hits with three RBIs.
The Wolves lost their first double header game against Fenton, May 24, 11-1. The second game stopped at the bottom of the sixth inning with Fenton leading 15-9.
They play in the MHSAA Division 1 Softball District 25 Semifinal against Oxford on Saturday, 10 a.m. The final is at 2 p.m. Both games are at Lake Orion High School.

The Wolves finished the spring season in the MHSAA Division 1 Girls Lacrosse Regional 4 second round at Clarkston High School, May 24.
Huron Valley United jumped to a 3-0 lead in the first six minutes and continued the momentum to win the game, 23-1.
Ainsley Gothard scored the lone goal for the Wolves with 6:45 remaining in the game against the Titans.
Clarkston finishes the season with a 7-9 overall record.
