Wolfpack Update for May 5, 2021

Clarkston Girls Varsity Soccer shut out Farmington, 4-0, April 27.
Sophomore Michaela Holbein led with two goals. Senior Ryann Fetty and sophomore Ava Bechtell had one goal each.
Sophomore Caroline Norrito, senior Grace John and junior Emily Horne had one assist each.
Senior Rachel Tanelian and junior Annabelle Yeloushan were in the net for the shut out.
The girls host Berkley on Thursday. They head to Rochester on Friday. They are back home on Tuesday, May 11, when they host Lake Orion.
Home games against Berkley and Lake Orion are at Clarkston High School Stadium. JV plays at 5:30 p.m., varsity follows.

Clarkston Girls Varsity Lacrosse battled last week against tough opponents.
They finished the week with a 16-9 loss against Notre Dame Prep during Game for Hope on Saturday.
Olivia Toderan led the team with seven goals, with a hat trick in the first half to tie the score at three. Notre Dame closed the half with a 9-3.
Anna Houstina and Kennedy Rusnell had one goal each.
The Wolves lost to Lake Orion on Friday, 23-10.

The Dragons opened with the first goal of the night with 23 minutes left in the first half. Toderan tied the score two minutes later.
Lake Orion responded with another goal to take the lead. Taylor Larose tied the game at two with 16:14 left in the first half.
The Dragons broke the tie and scored three more goals. They closed the first half with a 12-4 lead.
Toderan led with five goals and had one assist. Ainsley Gothard had two goals and one assist. Larose had two goals. Courtney Bayley had one goal and one assist and Rusnell had two assists.
Clarkston opened the week with a 16-6 loss to Bloomfield Hills, April 26. Toderan led with three goals. Gothard, Rusnell and Larose each had one goal.
The girls opened the week against Troy Athens. They head to Oxford on Friday, 6 p.m., and head to Utica Eisenhower on Saturday, 7 p.m.
They host Farmington on Monday at The Pond, the soccer/lacrosse stadium behind Clarkston High School, 7 p.m.

The Dragons United Water Polo teams traveled to Mason, April 28. For the third time this season, the varsity boys team defeated the Bulldogs, 13-9. Clarkston senior Owen Brown and LO junior Noah Watt led with three goals each. Defense was led by Clarkston junior Adam Ehrenberger, who made 15 saves in the net.
The boys varsity team defeated Walled Lake last Thursday, 13-8. Ehrenberger blocked ten goals and was assisted by a strong Dragon defense line.
The girls varsity polo team lost to Mason, 8-7. Down by three at the end of the first quarter, they fought back. By the last quarter, the score was close before it was tied.
The LOHS natatorium will host district seeding tournaments for both teams the first two weekends in May.

Clarkston Varsity Softball lost in their double header against Oxford, April 27.
Kayla Cole and Ava Gushen had an RBI each at the bottom of the fourth inning in the first game, 18-2. The Wolves lost the second game, 10-3.

Clarkston plays Imlay City on Thursday and head to the Alpena tournament this weekend.
