Golfers opened their Oakland Athletic Association with second place at Oakland University’s Katke Cousins course last week.
They finished with a 306, just one under Birmingham Seaholm who finished with 305.
Senior Brady Dice hit a 71, one under par, and finished tournament medalist.
Sophomore Patrick Deardorff hit a 77; senior Noah Sampson, 78; Sophomore Noah Bridgeman, 79; junior Terry Fortuna, 83, and sophomore Harry Bowman, 84.
Lake Orion finished in third place at the OAA league meet with 334. Rochester Adams finished fourth, 338; Bloomfield, fifth, 343; Rochester, sixth, 356; and Troy, seventh, 363.
The boys finished in third place after two days at the Southern Swing Invitational with a 606, with a 302 from round one on Friday and 304 from round two on Saturday.
Sampson finished tied for sixth place tournament individual with a 148 after two days, four under par. He hit 76 on Friday and a 72 on Saturday.
Dice hit a 152 during the tournament with 75 and 77. Deardorff and Bowman hit a 153, both hitting a 76 and 77 pars during the two days. Fortuna and freshman Smaka both hit a 79.
The Wolves opened last week at the Red Run Golf Club tournament where they finished in second place with a 310 score on April 17.
Dice led the team with a 73 and was also an individual tournament runner up. Sampson hit a 76; Fortuna, 79; Deardorff, 82; and Bridgeman, 84.
The boys head to Twin Lakes Golf Club for their third OAA league event. They have their fourth OAA league event at Orchard Lake Country Club on May 1.
