A total of 32 Everest Collegiate students celebrated their Commencement on May 21 on campus.
This class was the first group to return to the senior class pilgrimage to the Holy Land. They weathered the pandemic with school closures impacting both their freshman and sophomore years, and possessed a great amount of leadership as a class.
“I can attest that the mission of Everest – a mission centered in authentic Christian leadership – has been realized through this amazing group of graduates,” said Everest Headmaster Greg Reichert.
He went on to cite their accomplishments in apostolic volunteer work, helping with sports programs for younger students, a third of the class completing the senior capstone course, and more.
Senior awards were also presented May 18 at Senior Honors Night at Boulder Pointe Golf Club in Oxford.
Award recipients included Stephanie Suran and Joseph Morrison (Fine Arts Award), Kristina Moran and Shanghyun Park (Leadership Award), Audrey Stafford and Nathan Czach (Peer Apostle Award), Stafford (St. Agnes Award), Czach (St. Paul Award), and Amelia Shripka and Luke Walker (Integer Award).
Everest’s salutatorians are Allison Tong and Timothy Abraham and valedictorians Alicia Emmert-Buck and Matthew Neme.
