This is a friendly reminder for those of you who are traveling westbound on Clarkston Road, turning left (south) at Main Street.
The pedestrian or cyclist that is waiting to cross Main Street has the right-of-way. I am an avid walker and cyclist in the Clarkston area and that seems to be something that the drivers at that intersection forget quite often.
In fact, today (July 27), as I was trying to cross, and couldn’t, because the traffic would not yield to me, the driver of the vehicle was clearly pointing at me like I did not have the right-of -way and should not be crossing the road.
Really?
Anyway, that’s my reminder for the day.
