The Everest Collegiate Girls Varsity Soccer team went 1-2 last week. They finished the week with a 6-3 win over Jackson Lumen Christi on Saturday. They lost to Orchard Lake St. Mary’s Prep on April 16, 1-0; and Royal Oak Catholic Shrine on Thursday, 3-1.
The Everest Collegiate Boys Varsity Golf team defeated Cardinal Mooney, 164-203; and finished in ninth place at the Orchard Tournament.
The Everest Collegiate Varsity Baseball team went 2-2 last week with wins over Faith Homeschool, 25-5, and Bloomfield Christian, 15-0. They lost to Shrine in a double header, 2-1 and 7-1.
The Everest Collegiate Girls Varsity Tennis team defeated Foley at home, 5-3; and lost to Lumen Christi, 5-3.
The Everest Collegiate Track and Field teams competed in the Blue Devil Relays at Lake Fenton High School on Saturday. The girls team finished in fourth place and the boys team finished in sixth place.
The teams opened the season in the first Catholic High School League Intersectional Jamboree, April 10.
The girls team finished in in fourth place with 62.5 points.
Finishing in the top eight to score points were: in the 100-meter dash, Kathleen Thibodeau in second place in the time of 13.90; 200-meter dash, Madelyn Krappmann, second, 29.18; Thibodeau, third, 29.29; 400-meter dash, Kirsten McBride, fifth, 1:13.63; Charlotte Taylor, seventh, 1:15.04; high jump, Rebecca Berney, fifth, 4-00; and long jump, Krappmann, fifth, 13-08.5.
The 400-meter relay team with Krappmann, Taylor, Thibodeau and Zoe Abraham finished in first place in the time of 57.08. The 800-meter relay team with Krappmann, Taylor, McBride and Thibodeau finished in second place, 2:00.97. The 3,200-meter relay team with Victoria Honce, Ella Wilborn, Zoe Schlaud and Olivia Leahy, third, 13:51.21. The 1,600-meter relay team with McBride, Honce, Wilborn and Rebecca Berney finished in sixth place, 5:34.85.
The boys team finished in ninth place with 18 points.
Finishing in the top eight to score points were: in the 400-meter dash, Ravi Iyer finished in fourth place in the time of 59.77; 800-meter, Nathan Iyer, seventh, 2:36.84; and discus, Joseph Milosch, eighth, 91-07.
The 800-meter relay team of Milosch, Iyer, Demarco Valentino and Andrew Gaglio finished in fourth place in the time of 1:47.44. The 400-meter relay team of Valentino, Gaglio, Milosch and Simon Engle, sixth place, 52.37.
