Clarkston Boys Golf
Clarkston Boys Varsity Golf finished the season in 14th place at the Division 1 Regional 2 meet at Currie West Golf Club in Midland, May 29.
Senior Sam Studak led the Wolves with a 83. Freshman Chris Quayle had a 80; junior Vinny Giannini, 85; senior Austin Summers and junior Braden Waechter, 88.
Clarkston Girls Lacrosse
The Clarkston Girls Varsity Lacrosse team ended the season in the first round of the Division 1, Region 4 playoffs. The Wolves (8-9) lost to Grand Blanc, 6-2, on May 24.
Clarkston Softball
The Clarkston Varsity Softball team finished the season with a 2-0 loss to Bloomfield Hills in the MHSAA Division 1 District 26 final at Waterford Kettering on Saturday.
Clarkston (7-25) won the district semifinal against West Bloomfield, 11-0. The Wolves scored five runs at the top of the second inning to take the lead with an RBI from Violet Bergman, an RBI from Gracie Cantley on her double, and three RBIs on Knowlton’s homerun hit. They scored four runs on the top of the fourth inning with one RBI each from Bergman, Kendall Young, Elyse Miller and Savannah Kramer
In the next inning, Amelia Floros hit a triple and stole home while Hannah Wayne was at the plate. Cantley also scored while Miller was at the plate, closing the fifth inning, 11-0.
