Ghouls and gobins galore! Mobs of trick-or-treaters hit the streets downtown to get some sweet treats from businesses, Oct. 30.
The Lake Orion Review passed out 410 pieces of candy in 75 minutes and the Downtown Development Authority, event sponsor, said over 700 ghosties and parents attended the event.
Residents will be pleased to note no wicked witches melted in Friday’s rain showers.
Police Chief Jerry Narsh said the evening was safe, quite and fun. He was also pleased at the number of children wearing police costumes over firefighters and other service uniforms.
‘The children have spoken,? he said in jest to Orion Fire Chief Jeff Key.
