DONDANVILLE, John; of Clarkston, MI; formerly of Springfield, IL; May 13, 2016 after a courageous battle with lung cancer; age 58; husband of Janet (Frank) for 33 years; father of Chris, Matt & Peter; son of Lee & Ann; son in law of Fred & Eleanor Frank; brother of Mary (Tom) Rooney, Patty (Jim) Berman, Dan (Anne), Joe (Kelly); brother in law of C. Ann (Dean) Dietrich, Steve (Kathy) Frank, John (Shari) Frank and Mary Riordan; also many nieces & nephews. John was a 1980 graduate of University of Notre Dame. He was a civil engineer and owned/operated D5Group as a real estate developer. He was an active Boy Scouts of America volunteer at Troop District & Council levels. Memorial visitation Sunday, May 22^nd from 3:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m. at Lewis E. Wint & Son Funeral Home, Clarkston with a Divine Mercy Chaplet Rosary at 6:00 p.m. Memorial Mass Monday, May 23^rd at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic Church, Waterford. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Lungevity or Boy Scouts of America.
