CANALES, Serapia; of Pontiac, unexpectedly November 12, 2016; age 83; preceded in death by her husband Inocencio, Jr. and sisters Hortencia Silva and Isidra Doria; loving mother of Inocencio III (Laurie) Canales; proud grandmother of Inocencio IV and Carey Cabral; great grandmother of Maria Canales, Inocencio V, Antionio Serapio Canales, Marc and Manuel Cabral; dear sister of Juan (Emma) Guerra; sister in law of Ramona (late Pete) Diaz, Yolanda Leal, Elia (Alberto) Gallardo and Roberto (Mary) Canales.  Also survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews all of Texas.  Serapia retired from Kmart.  She enjoyed making quilts and gardening.   Visitation Wednesday, November 16, 2016 from 4-8 pm at the Lewis E. Wint and Son Funeral Home, Clarkston.   Funeral Service and burial in Rio Grande City, Texas.  In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to American Diabetes or American Cancer Society.
