Clarkston Varsity Wrestling took down two OAA Red opponents last Wednesday as they faced Lake Orion and Rochester.
The Wolves defeated the Dragons, 43-29.
Clarkston won three of their matches with pins. Cole Wiegers had a fall over Nicholas Nowakowski at 3:50 in the 119-pound weight class; Ethan Polick (135) over Andrew Miller, 2:55; and Houston Hemingsen (140) over Austin Dolland, 3:14.
Anthony Welch (125) won his match over Jakob Gregg by a major decision, 12-2. Jake Billette (145) won his match over Dominic Orselli in a 11-5 decision.
Mac Hanselman (130), Adam Sprague (103), and Grady Castle (112) won their matches with voids.
Clarkston also defeated Rochester, 52-9.
The Wolves won five of their matches with pins beginning with Castle (112) over Owen Fisher at 3:00. Wiegers (119) had a fall over Jordan Meacham, 1:29; Billette (145) over Giorgio Hama, 2:04; Ian Wilson (171) over Max Hale, 1:11; Rocco Spindler (285) over David Robinson, 2:52. Welch (125) added another four points as he won his match in a 10-1 major decision over Ian Carroll.
Also winning their matches, Hanselman (130) over Brandon Troy, 5-3; Polick (135) over Aidan Fitzgerald, 10-4; Hemingsen (140) over Ben Kable, 5-1; Carter Hoogewerf (152) over Christian Fortress, 7-0; Hayden Payne (160) over Andrew Morales, 6-5; and Sprague (103) over Kavan Troy, 9-4.
Clarkston ended their week going 2-3 at the Gary Rivers Memorial Duals at Lowell High School last Saturday.
The Wolves head to the Oakland Macomb Duals this Saturday at Oxford High School, 9 a.m. They finish the regular season as they head to the OAA Red Championships on Feb. 1 at Rochester Adams, 4 p.m.

The Clarkston Varsity Hockey team defeated Oxford/Avondale with a 8-0 win at Detroit Skating Club last Thursday.
Trevor Gilman led the team with three goals. Brandt Botterill had two goals. Nik Highducheck had one goal and two assists, Austin McKay had one goal and one assist, and Daniel Milano had one goal. Brent Bachusz had two assists.
They lost to Grosse Ile during the OAA Metro Showcase, 8-3. Botterill scored two goals in the game and Highducheck had one goal. McKay, Gilman and Austin James had one goal each.
The Wolves host Walled Lake Northern on Thursday, 5:30 p.m. They host Jersey Giveaway Night on Saturday when they host West Bloomfield. All kids who attend will receive a free alumni jersey.
The game begins at 8 p.m. at 888 Denison Court in Bloomfield Hills.
