The Millpond Porchfest will be on Sunday, June 24, from 2-4 p.m.
“There will be seven porches with seven very different acts. This year we will have everything from Rock and Folk music to a dulcimer group, a barbershop quartet and an Irish band,” said Toni Smith, director, Clarkston Heritage Museum. “There will be a small table at the corner of N. Main and W. Washington where people can stop and pick up a map of all the porches. Then they just grab their lawn chairs and stroll around, stopping wherever they wish.”
A refreshment tent will be selling grilled hot dogs, popcorn, and other snacks.
Sponsored by the Clarkston Community Historical Society, the event is free, with donations appreciated.
