Troy B. Parr, 57, of Clarkston, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on November 3, 2018.
Troy was born May 7, 1961 in Lapeer loving son to Jack and Betty (Brian) Parr. He graduated from Clarkston High School, class of 1979. Upon graduation Troy enlisted in the US Coast Guard where he served proudly for two years. Troy worked as a truck driver most of his adult life. He loved all animals and loved the outdoors.
Troy is survived by two sons: Billy Parr of Kalamazoo and Justin Parr of Clarkston; parents, Jack and Betty Parr of Clarkston; siblings: Cliff (Annissa) Parr of Farmington Hills, Ann (John) Pybus of Mesa, AZ and Jennifer (William) Gray of Beverly Hills, MI. Troy is also survived by nieces and nephews: Morgan, Sasha, Jarred, and CJ Parr; Jacqueline and Sarah Bauer; and Levi and Hannah Gray. He was preceded in death by his brother, Greg Parr; the mother of his sons, Diana Bailey and his grandparents.
In light of Troy’s love for animals – in lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the animal shelter of your choice.
A private family graveside will be held at Woodland Heights Cemetery in Rector, Arkansas in the near future. Cremation services have been entrusted to Muir Brothers Funeral Home, Lapeer.
