Clarkston Village Players hosts open auditions for their March 2019 production of Something to Hide by Leslie Sands on Sunday, Dec. 16, at 6 p.m.; and Monday, Dec. 17, at 7 p.m., at Depot Theatre, 4861 White Lake Road. Actors may attend one or both nights of auditions and must be 18 years or older. Performance dates are March 8-10, 15-17, and 21-23.
Roles include Howard Holt, 35-50, good looking man with more than a fair share of virile charm; Julie, 20-30, attractive and vivacious; Karen Holt, 40-55, well-groomed woman, intelligent, strong, vulnerable; Inspector Davies, 40-65, middle aged family man with a likeable grin, deceptive gentleness, persistent with an eye for detail; Will Purdie, 50-70, little grizzled man, reliable and always available for a drink; Stella, 20-30, pretty and full of self-confidence; and Miss Cunningham, 40-70, middle aged spinster, a bit of a busy body.
