MAIER, Marie S. of Metamora, formerly of Clarkston; passed away May 13, 2019; age 83.  Loving wife of Bill for 64 years.  Beloved mother of Bill Maier and Kurt (Tracey) Maier.  Proud grandma of Erik, Kristin, Megan and Cameron.  Dear sister of Mary Rudowski.  Preceded in death by her siblings Joseph Isabell and Yvonne Sampson.  Marie had a strong love for lake living and especially loved pontoon boat rides around Lake Lapeer & Sage Lake, and watching friends and family waterski on Deer Lake.  She also enjoyed seeing beautiful wildlife from the deck of her lake house.  Marie cherished memories of raising her family in Clarkston and the many wonderful neighbors and family friends that they made in the community. She will be greatly missed by her loyal companion Bitsy.  Friends may visit Wednesday 4-7 pm at the Lewis E.
