Clarkston city administration is working with the Road Commission of Oakland County (RCOC) to piggyback on one of their summer road projects, said City Manager Jonathan Smith.
Preliminary costs from RCOC are $62,000 to “crush and shape” Miller Road from Glenburnie to M-15; and $6,000 to mill and fill Waldon Road at M-15, Smith said.
Additional funds may be needed this year for engineering work for Clarkston Road at M-15. The city’s 2020 budget includes $35,000 in the Capital Project Fund for roads and another $70,000 in the Parking Kiosk Fund, he said.
“No funds will be committed or incurred without a RCOC contract approved by City Council,” he said.
