Emily Ziesmer of Independence Township took advantage of a nice summer day, Aug. 14, to create some art in Depot Park.
“I had the day off so I thought I would go out to paint,” said Ziesmer, a 2015 Clarkston High School graduate who has been painting for about four years.
She creates abstract, marbleized art using the pour painting technique.
“There’s no science to it, it comes out the way it wants to,” she said. “I don’t know what it will look like until it’s done.”
