A proposal to install new signage throughout the Village of the City of Clarkston received final approval last week by the City Council.
The hope is to have the new metal welcoming, directional and wayfinding signs and posts fabricated and installed before winter.
The signage proposal was prepared by the city’s Sign Committee, approved by Council, and put out for bid late last year, but has been on hold due to COVID-19.
This project is being funded by a surplus balance from two Special Assessment Districts closed out last year.
Parking lot signage was not included in the proposal and will be addressed next year.
