Clarkston Varsity Dance had their final competition of the season on Saturday.
“Competition was amazing,” said Kelsey Chewins, head coach.
The team finished first in their jazz routine; second place in pom routine; and second Overall Grand Champs in the competition as they had the second highest score of the entire competition.
“We only lost to the first place team by one point,” Chewins said. “The girls danced the absolute best they have ever danced both routines.”
Soloists Belle Whiteherse, came in first place in the Senior Solo Division 2; Abby McIntyre, third place, Senior Solo Division 2; and Avery Martin, first in the Senior Solo Division 1. Divisions are separated by age.
