The Clarkston Boys JV Basketball team finished the winter season last Thursday against Bloomfield Hills.
The boys finished with a 54-36 win for a 18-1 overall record and an 11-1 record in the Oakland Athletics Association Red division.
They went on a 15-0 run before their only loss of the season which was to North Farmington by two points after two overtime periods on Feb. 5, 51-49.
The Wolves opened the season with a 53-45 win over Sterling Heights Stevenson on Nov. 30. Then, throughout December they took down seven more opponents: Pontiac, 58-63; Orchard Lake St. Mary’s Prep, 72-66; Lakeland, 51-41; Wayne Memorial, 56-46; and Farmington, 77-31. They beat league opponents Lake Orion, 70-43, and West Bloomfield, 70-58, to open end 2018 with two wins in the OAA Red.
The team includes: freshmen Jacob Beck, Trevor Busyn, Karston Peterson, Nathan Steinman; sophomores Justin Buchmann, Zach Cicero, Logan Forbes, Isayah Harris, Blake Kosin, Jesse Lawson, Jr., Drew Radlick, Luke Scherler, Cole Wilson; and junior Lucas Isaac. Team manager is Michael Stroster.
They are led by Clarkston alum and former players Head Coach Julius Porter and Assistant Coach Michael Nicholson.
