Bailey Lake hosts annual Seuss Night

Bailey Lake Elementary hosted its annual Seuss Night, April 26. The fun and well-attended event recognizes the literary works of renowned children’s author Dr. Seuss, utilizing games and activities focused on and related to Dr. Seuss. Photos by Matt Mackinder

High school students were on hand to help students make their own “Cat in the Hat” headware.

 

The cake walk in the Bailey Lake Elementary gym drew a slew of participants as the kids hoped to win fun prizes.

 

Making oobleck (from “Bartholomew and the Oobleck”) was a very popular activity at Seuss Night.

 

The raffle baskets had many views and even more tickets purchased for at Seuss Night.

 

Thing 1, Thing 2, and Thing 3 (from “Cat in the Hat”) made an appearance at the cake walk.
