Kids brought their stuffed animal buddies to the Teddy Bear Picnic at Bay Court Park, Aug. 14.

This year’s event, held by the Independence Parks, Recreation and Seniors, was themed The Very Hungry Caterpillar. The fun included a craft, an interactive story, playing games, visiting with Luna the Bear and lunch. See more photos in the Aug. 26, 2020 print edition
