For those grinder lovers in the community, Christmas came early this month with the reopening of Bellacino’s Pizza & Grinders.
‘This is a specialty Italian restaurant that specializes in grinders and their own pizza, which is different than any other,? said new owner Hassan Saad.
Bellacino’s offers a variety of grinders, pizza, salads, pastas and desserts, and it is Saad’s goal to make sure the customers always get the best.
‘Everything is prepared here fresh, everyday,? he added. ‘We do our own bread, sauce and meat.?
Before opening earlier this month, Saad made some improvements to the interior of the store, getting new kitchen equipment and replacing carpets and chairs.
‘My main goal is to keep a high quality of food and a clean place,? he said.
As well as offering catering, Bellacino’s also offers the opportunity for individuals to rent out part of the newly improved interior for things like small birthday parties.
Bellacino’s also offers delivery, and Saad said that they will deliver all over the Orion area.
‘There is no limit on delivery order size,? he added, noting that delivery is available during all normal business hours.
Located at 1188 South Lapeer Rd., they are open Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., Saturday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., and Sunday from noon to 9 p.m.
Saad said that he is looking forward to getting involved with the local churches and schools, as well as operating his business in Orion.
‘It’s beautiful here,? he said. ‘I like the atmosphere and the people.?
