Prior to taking a 12-day hiatus, the Brandon varsity girls basketball team came from behind to defeat Flint Southwestern Academy 57-51 in a Sept. 8 contest.
The Knights took a 19-12 lead at the end of the first quarter, and led 29-21 at the half before Brandon rallied to tie the game at 37 at the end of the third quarter.
Savannah Stedman led the Blackhawks with 24 points, while Jessica Liebner added nine.
The Blackhawks return to action Sept. 20 when they host Clio in a 7 p.m. contest.
