Unfortunately, the varsity boys soccer team was shut out last week by Goodrich 3-0.
Goodrich was able to score a couple of goals early in the game, but the Wildcats were able to weather the storm and create some scoring chances.
‘We had a few chances to score but came up short,? said Varsity Soccer Coach John Thaler, of his 4-2 team.
Goodrich scored again in the final 10 minutes of the game, capping off the victory.
‘It was a good game for us because we played hard and learned from our mistakes. We’ll carry that over into our next games,? said Thaler.
