The Lake Orion boys cross country team celebrated victories over Troy and Rochester in a tri-meet on Oct. 11.
The Dragon boys defeated Troy, 17-44; and Rochester, 18-41.
Rob Shinouskis finished first overall for Lake Orion with a time of 16:10, while Drew Collette was second (16:29).
Max Hock of Lake Orion finished in third, with 16:56.
The girls cross country team lost to Troy and Rochester, 22-39, and 21-34 respectively.
Sarah Lieblein had the best finish for the Dragon girls, taking third place with a time of 18:58.
On Oct. 14, the Lake Orion boys finished second in the Oxford Invitational with 102.
Shinouskis was third (16:10), Collette was eighth (16:44), and Hock finished 13th with a time of 17:06.
The girls were sixth with 182 points, and Lieblein took eighth place (20:09), while Allie Hock was 15th (20:40).
