A sweep by the Lake Orion boys in the two-mile run highlighted a busy day on the Dragon Stadium track last Friday.
The Dragons hosted the OAA I league meet, with the boys finishing fourth and the girls taking seventh.
The only LO victory on either side came in the 3200 run, where Ryan Ziolko eclipsed the 10-minute mark, followed closely by teammates Doug Mack and Max Hock.
The three runners finished just 3.5 seconds apart. Ziolko also finished second in the one-mile run.
In field events, the Dragons got second place finishes from Tony Thompson in the discus and Alex Hare in the high jump.
The boys 400m relay unit was the only other top-three finisher for LO, placing third.
Southfield won the meet on the boys? side, giving the league title to second-place Rochester.
West Bloomfield won the girls? meet with second-place Troy winning the league title.
The league title is based on both regular season dual meet performances and the league meet.
Both Lake Orion squads head to the regional meet this Friday.
