Looking for a quality night of food and music, all while helping support a good cause?
Then check out the Orion/Oxford Boys & Girls Club of Southeastern Michigan Ninth Annual Taste of the Town on Saturday, March 3, at Canterbury Castle in Canterbury Village.
Doors open at 6:30 p.m.
During the evening, guests can sample specialty items from area restaurants including Metamora Golf & Country Club, Buffalo Wild Wings, Canterbury Castle, Hamlin Pub North, Starbucks, Lombardo’s, Paparazzi, Sagebrush Cantina, Hoops Sports & Spirits, Postive Vibration Wine Bar, Montana’s Cookhouse, Applebee’s, Steve’s Pizzeria and More!, Costco Wholesale, Towers? Treats and Olive Garden.
Music will be provided by Spectrum Entertainment and bidding at a live and silent auction will help highlight the evening. A cash bar is also available.
The live auction will include a number of items such as a Hot Air Balloon Ride, jewelry, original artwork, a numbered and signed ?25 Years in Detroit Sports? print, two front row seats to an upcoming Detroit Red Wings game (date and time to be determined) and other items.

Tickets will also be available at the door. Local businesses are being asked to donate auction items for the silent and live auctions.
The Orion/Oxford Boys & Girls Club is located at 1801 Waldon Road. They offer a variety of programs and activities for youth ages 6-18 after school throughout the school year and Monday-Friday during the summer.
Donations, grants and fundraisers support its programs and services.
The local club has been in existence since 1991.
All proceeds of the Taste of the Town will support the programs of the Orion/Oxford Club.
