The Holly Broncos held off the Brandon Blackhawks 49-45 on Jan. 8 by hitting six more free throws than the home team, winning the Metro-League varsity basketball game.
Dustin DeShais led the Blackhawks? scoring with 22 points, and teammate Quin McNally had 13 points and seven assists. Tate McNally also tossed in 10 points for the Blackhawks. Quin McNally had three, three-point shots, Dustin DeShais had two, three-point shots, and Daniel Grost hit one from three-point land. The Brandon Blackhawks will play at 7:30 p.m. on Jan. 18 against Fenton High School.
