The Lake Orion varsity girls basketball team increased their winning record on Oct. 25, with a victory over Birmingham Groves, before falling to Troy later in the week.
Against Groves, the Dragons took a 45-41 victory, as senior Chelsea Richards scored 12 points and was 8-for-8 from the free throw line.
Cara Booker scored 10 points for the team, and Rachel LaRocca had eight.
Cara Slossan contributed six points, and Trisha Dalrymple had four for the team.
On Oct. 27, the Dragons fell to Troy, 56-28, as their record went to 12-4, 6-3 in OAA III.
Richards had nine points on the night, and Dalrymple and Slossan each finished with six.
The Dragons hosted Ferndale on Nov. 1, and will host Birmingham Seaholm at 7 p.m. on Nov. 3.
