The Oxford Varsity boys and girls cross country teams both ended their league season Oct. 18 at the Flint Metro Leauge Tournament.
Leading the boys was captain Ben Cole, with a time of 19:06, which took him to 15th place and earned him an Honorable Mention.
Captain Adam Heskitt also earned an Honorable Mention with his time of 18:24 and 20th place. Kevin Jickling made 24th place with a time of 18:35. The boys finished 4th at the meet and 4th in the league.
Leading the girls was Taylor Dewey, who earned a medal and placed on the FML second team with her 9th place position and time of 21:38.
Kate Wolanin was also named to the FML second team and picked up a medal with her 11th place position time of 21:54.
Honorable Mentions when to Liz Hazelwood for her 15th place and Chelsea Kessler with her 21st place.
