After students at Oxford Elementary and Daniel Axford Elementary raised over $21,000 for the PTO from their Fun-Run, PE teachers Ron Roop (OES) and Shanie Williams (DA) submitted to their lost bets. Roop, said he would have his head shaved if the goal was reached, while Williams offered to have her hair dyed blue and gold. Students raised a total of $22,911.67. Last week, amidst kids screaming ‘shave it off,? five of the top fundraisers from OES took turns shaving Roop’s head. The money will be divided in half and given to the PTO’s of each school.
