On Oct. 29, the Church of the Resurrection, 6490 Clarkston Road, hosted a Day of the Dead (El Día de los Muertos) celebration to remember all those who have passed away.
The event was organized by Narce Scott, who is of Mexican heritage, and wanted to share the holiday with the Clarkston community.
The celebration also featured walking tacos, cookie decorating, mask coloring, banner making, and a showing of the movie “Coco” for all those that attended.
