A crowd gathered in Depot Park and Lakeview Cemetery, Monday, to kick off the summer season with a Memorial Day Service, hosted by American Legion Post 63 of Clarkston.
The Post 63 Honor Guard led a march, including veterans, Terry Shelswell’s military vehicles, and the Clarkston High School Marching band, from the park to the cemetery. The ceremony was in memory of fallen veterans, and to honor all those who served.
