Now, Oxford has the triangle.
The Oxford Board of Education approved Feb. 26 a new logo that would represent the school district in every aspect.
Designed by the Florida based TEK group, it displays the universal symbols for academics, arts and athletics and how it’s important to the holistic development of the students in the Oxford School District.
The three O’s inside the center triangle represent the district slogan of ‘Learn Today ? Lead Tomorrow,? in that the smallest Orepresents the new learner, the middle is thegrowing learner and the larger one is a graduate who is ready to lead.
‘The logo does not make the organization,? said Superintedent Dr. Bill Skilling. ‘The organization makes the logo.?
By establishing a district logo, Skilling said it sort of ‘brands the district.?
‘It continues to reinforce what we value as an organization and what people need to hold us accountable for,? he said.
The new logo will be seen on future signage around the district, on letterheads and on the website, which TEK group also designs.
