The Lake Orion Education Foundation awarded another round of mini-grants during a presentation at last week’s school board meeting.
According to Education Foundation President Steve Appledorn, this set of grants totaled close to $15,000, allowing the foundation to exceed their yearly goal of awarding $25,000 for the benefit of Lake Orion students.
‘All in all, it’s been a successful year,? Appledorn said, as he and Foundation Vice President Diane Dunaskiss recognized the grant recipients.
‘Thank you for all you do for the students and for going the extra mile,? Dunaskiss added.
