Clinton River Watershed Council is hosting its annual River Day 2004 on June 12. CRWC is a non-profit organization dedicated to protecting, enhancing and celebrating the Clinton River, its watershed and Lake St. Clair.
Area events scheduled include:
Guided Bike Ride at Bald Mountain Recreation Area, 8 a.m. — Join Paint Creek Bicycles for an intermediate bike ride through Bald Mountain. Team riders will be on hand to assist and lend advice.

GOODison Bake Sale, 10 a.m.-4 p.m. — Stop at Paint Creek United Methodist Church for afternoon dessert and coffee while choosing from some homemade goodies. The church is located at 4420 Collins Road near Oakland Township Hall. Contact Hilda Taylor at 248-651-1790.
Goodison to Lake Orion Family Bike Tour on the Paint Creek Trail, 12-2 p.m. — Travel along the scenic Paint Creek Trail, stopping to learn about historic points of interest and unique natural features. Meet at Silverbell Road trailhead off of Orion Road. Contact Mindy Milos-Dale at 248-651-7810.
Celebrate Paint Creek Fest, 12-5 p.m.– Orion Art Center and the Village of Lake Orion Downtown Development Association are sponsoring an afternoon of fun activities along the banks of Paint Creek.
Come join the Blue Grass tunes of The Paint Creek Boys. There will be refreshments, games, arts and crafts and environmental information plus a guided walk through the historic Village of Lake Orion at 5 p.m.
