The Dragons split two games last week, winning a Thursday showdown with Birmingham Unified and then falling to University of Detroit on Saturday.
The 3-0 victory over Birmingham was Lake Orion’s first as a member of the OAA I, evening their league record at 1-1.
Brad Berschback and Adam Chapie both scored shorthanded goals in the first period for the Dragons, who got a shutout in goal from Jason Stross.
They fell to the host Cubs 4-2.
Lake Orion is off until Thursday, Dec. 13, when they will host Livonia Stevenson.
