Flashing lights, loud sirens and huge construction equipment all found a home in Friendship Park last Friday night as Orion Township Parks and Recreation hosted their annual Big Rig Gig.
Over 3,000 individuals attended the event, which featured a variety of trucks and tractors, diggers and dozers, buses and backhoes, and many more.
According to Recreation Program Supervisor Jennifer Rowe, the event featured participation from approximately 25 businesses and over 50 trucks were on display.
‘Overall, the event went fantastic – could not have been any better,? Rowe added.
