A 53-year-old Lapeer man was taken to McLaren Oakland hospital in Pontiac after he rear-ended a semi-truck in his 1998 Jeep around 5:36 a.m. Jan. 27.
The crash occurred on the northbound side of M-24, just south of Ray Rd. The driver of the Jeep, who was issued a citation, had some potential broken bones, but no life-threatening injuries, according to Oakland County Sheriff’s Lt. Scott Patterson
