Clear Lake Elementary students got a first-hand look at the Oakland County Sheriff’s Department’s K-9 Unit in action when dogs and officers visited the school Friday.
Three of the OCSD’s 15 dogs were used to show how they can sniff out bad guys, find illicit drugs and even locate a missing child.
At the end of the program, the school’s Student Council presented a check for $429.95 to the K-9 Unit as a thank you for visiting Clear Lake.
