Leonard Elementary’s fifth-graders held a veterans celebration at the school on Friday, Nov. 13.
The students interviewed veterans about their experiences in the military, looked at old photographs and medals, and located the countries they served in on the globe.
A few students got up in front of everybody and expressed their personal appreciation to the veterans for the sacrifices they made and their unwavering commitment to this nation.
