Library will host author brunch this weekend

The Orion Township Public Library will host a special ‘Mystery/Suspense Author Brunch? this Saturday (Sept. 8) from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The event will include a light brunch and a panel of three Michigan native mystery authors, Markus Sakey, Mark Terry and William Wallace Green, who will discuss their books and writing experiences.
Sakey was born in Flint and his first novel, The Blade Itself, was selected as a New York Times Editor’s Pick and featured on CBS Sunday Morning and National Public Radio.
Terry is an Oxford native and a regular contributor to newspapers and magazines. His most recent book, The Serpent’s Kiss, is the second thriller in a series featuring Department of Homeland Security troubleshooter Dr. Dereck Stillwater.
Green is a successful author and speaker from Lapeer, who will discuss his most recent book, Red Moon Rising. Mr Green’s writing career began after he fought back from the crippling effects of Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder.
The Orion Township Library is located at 825 Joslyn Road. The authors will be available after the program to sign and sell their books.
