It’s all about mothers at the Flint Street Gallery this month.
In honor of Mother’s Day, the gallery is hosting an exhibit featuring the mother and daughter pair of Dolores Kurily and Theresa Demers.
The pair works in a variety of media types, and according to Demers, her favorite subjects are landscapes, while her mother enjoys portraits.
While the pair has participated in many art shows, this is the first time the exhibit is solely the two of them, Demers said.
The exhibit is running now through the end of the month, and the Flint Street Gallery is located at 15 East Flint Street in downtown Lake Orion.
