The Clarkston Everest Collegiate Football team defeated Ottawa Lake last Friday, 24-12.
The Mountaineers improved 7-0. They head to Royal Oak Shrine Catholic this Friday in a Catholic High School League – Intersectional No. 2 game. Kick off is 7 p.m.
Everest Cross Country
The Clarkston Girls Cross Country team finished in first place at the 40th Gabriel Richard Invite on Saturday with 59 points.
Senior Erica Walker led the Mountaineers, finishing in ninth place in the time of 21:15.04. The top five runners also included freshman Allison Schmitt in 12th place in the time of 21:53.99; senior Isabella Page, 19th, 22:29.42; sophomore Susan Nedwick, 26th, 23:04.65; and senior Maria Saad, 27th, 23:08.30.
Everest Volleyball
The Everest Collegiate Varsity Volleyball claimed the Catholic High School League championship. They defeated University Liggett 3-0 on Tuesday, Oct. 8 in the semifinal. Then, they defeated then Ann Arbor Greenhills, 3-0, in the championship at Eastern Michigan University last Thursday.
