Clarkston Everest Collegiate Track and Field teams competed in the Time Trial Meet at Lutheran Northwest, March 29.
A highlight from the day was senior John Morrison setting a new school record in the high jump at 5-06.
For the boys team in the track events, in the 100-yard dash, Morrison finished in the time of 11.95; senior Antonio Santoro, 12.41; 200-meter dash, Morrison, 24.51; sophomore Ravi Iyer, 25.30; Santoro, 25.72; 400-meter dash, Iyer, 1:00.34; freshman Spencer Lacey, 1:02.97; 110-meter hurdles, junior Thomas Williams, 20.81; and 300-meter hurdles, Williams, 51.65.
The 800-meter relay team finished in the time of 1:48.09 and the 1,600-meter relay team finished in 4:31.19.
For field events, in the shot put event, senior Jacob Jackson finished with the distance of 38-00.75; Morrison, 37-10; Santoro, 32-01.75; junior Nathan Czach, 29-07; sophomore Joseph Milosch, 28-11.50; sophomore Duncan Brown, 27-09.75; junior Joseph Morrison, 27-08.50; discus, Jackson, 98-07; Brown, 56-09.50; and long jump, senior Charles Reichert, 16-00.
For the girls team in the track events, in the 100-yard dash, freshman Madelyn Krappmann, 14.00; sophomore Kathleen Thibodeau, 14.23; junior Jessie Burns, 14.63; 200-yard dash, Thibodeau, 30.72; Krappmann, 30.84; Burns, 32.46; 800-meter run, junior Stephanie Suran, 3:24.00; and 300-meter hurdles, senior Erin Booms.
The 400-meter relay team finished in the time of 57.66.
For field events, in the discus event, senior Sally McGrath finished with the distance of 70-06; high jump, McGrath, 4-00; long jump, Krappmann, 14-00; Booms, 13-06; and Suran, 12-06.25.
The Mountaineers head to the Lansing Catholic Relays at Lansing Catholic on Saturday. First event starts at 9 a.m.
They compete in the Catholic High School League Jamboree No. 1 on Tuesday at Greenhills High School, 4:30 p.m.
