The Clarkston Everest Collegiate Varsity Volleyball team has been making their mark on the school’s history books.
First, they won the MHSAA Division 4 Regional 31 Championship. They defeated Novi Christian in the the regional semifinal, 3-0, 25-13, 25-15 and 25-9. Then, they defeated Auburn Hills Oakland Christian in the regional final, 3-0, 25-15, 25-15 and 25-14.
The Mountaineers moved onto the Quarterfinal 16 at Fenton High School on Nov. 14 where they swept Marlette, 25-17, 25-18 and 25-19.
Everest competed in the semifinal against Adrian Lenawee Christian on Friday, Nov. 17 at the Kellogg Center in Battle Creek, 3-2. Then, they won the state championship with a 3-2 win over Leland on Saturday. Read more in the November 29, 2023 edition of The Clarkston News. ~WP
