Drew’s Home of Clarkston hosts an open house at their apartment complex in Clarkston, 4-6 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 2.
The non-profit group updated and renovated the apartments on the lower level to accomodate individuals with disabilities. Upper apartments are homes to individuals without disabilities, which helps create an integrated community.
Parking is available at St. Daniel Catholic Church, 7010 Valley Park Drive, at Holcomb Road. Free shuttle bus transportation will be provided at the church to the apartment complex.
A reception area at St. Daniel’s Cushing Center will include sign-in table, refreshments, and literature about the mission of Drew’s Home. Visitors should check in at the reception table before visiting the apartments.
Named after Drew Moscovic, Drew’s Home of Clarkston works to establish independent living settings in northern Oakland County for adults with special needs.
